Pearl
Privacy in plain English.
Last updated June 2026 · the lawyer version is being written, this is what we actually do.
What we collect
- Your business profile (name, address, services, hours, pricing) — so Pearl can answer your phone correctly.
- Calls and SMS routed through your Pearl number — recorded, transcribed, stored in your dashboard.
- Customer contacts you import or that callers create — to build your CRM.
- Receipts and photos you upload — extracted with OCR, stored in your account.
- Standard logs (IP, browser, timestamps) — for security and debugging.
What we do not do
- We never sell your data, your call recordings, or your contacts. Ever.
- We don't train shared AI models on your call audio or transcripts.
- We don't read your Gmail. The Yelp/Thumbtack lead forwarding works through your own Gmail filter — we only see what you whitelist.
- We don't share data with marketing companies, ad networks, or insurance brokers.
Subprocessors
- Twilio — phone numbers, voice, SMS transport.
- ElevenLabs — text-to-speech for Pearl's voice.
- Deepgram — speech-to-text for caller audio.
- Anthropic (Claude) — the LLM that decides what Pearl says.
- Railway / Cloudflare R2 — hosting and object storage.
- Resend — transactional email.
Each is bound by their own data-processing terms. We pick subprocessors that don't train on customer data by default.
Your rights
- Export everything as CSV anytime — clients, calls, jobs, receipts.
- Delete your account and we wipe your data within 30 days.
- If you're a caller (not a Pearl customer) and want a recording deleted, email privacy@pearlcrm.app with the date and number.
