These terms govern your use of Pearl. By using Pearl you agree to them. If you're signing up on behalf of a business, you confirm you're authorized to accept these terms for that business.

What Pearl is

Pearl is software-as-a-service that answers your phone, schedules jobs, and helps you find unbilled revenue. You use it; we keep it running. You own your data; we operate the platform.

Billing

• Pearl is in early access. Early-access customers are invoiced monthly and lock in launch pricing for life.
• Twilio phone numbers, SMS, and voice minutes are billed by Twilio directly. We don't mark them up.
• Late payment: if an invoice goes 30+ days unpaid we'll pause your account (your data stays intact for 90 days).

Fair use

• One Pearl account per business. Don't resell Pearl as your own service.
• Outbound calling and texting must comply with TCPA and your state's rules. Pearl's defaults are strict; loosening them is on you.
• Don't use Pearl for collections, debt enforcement, political campaigns, or robocalls.

Connected accounts

When you connect a third-party account such as Google Calendar, you authorize Pearl to access it only to provide the features you've enabled (for example, booking and updating appointments). Our handling of Google data is described in our Privacy Policy, which follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect any connected account at any time from your settings.

Cancellation

• No contract, no early-termination fee. Cancel anytime from settings or by emailing us.
• Forwarded numbers: dial ##002# on your cell to undo carrier forwarding.
• Ported numbers: we'll help you port back to your carrier or another provider.
• Data export: full CSV export available before and after cancellation, for 90 days.

Liability

Pearl is a tool. It will occasionally make mistakes — misunderstand a caller, mis-book a slot, send the wrong SMS. We work hard to minimize these, and you can review every call before it converts to a paying booking. Pearl's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months. We're not liable for lost revenue, missed appointments caused by integrations failing, or downstream consequences of AI errors. You agree to indemnify us if a customer of yours sues over how you used Pearl.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that affects you materially, we'll email you 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
